How many times have we bought a feed thinking that our dog would love it, but that in the end we had to give it to someone why didn't you like it? The truth is that many. It can get really frustrating looking for and finding the type of food your furry likes - there are so many different brands and flavors!
But that is something that is not going to happen anymore. Here is the list with the 5 foods that will drive your dog crazy.
We know that dogs are carnivorous animals and that, therefore, the food for them has to be essentially meat, but the truth is that, after having spent some ten thousand years by our side, they have managed to find the exquisite flavor of other foods that, if they remained wild, most likely would not be eaten. Or maybe yes, because they have a very pleasant smell. Taking this into account, we can tell you that if ever, for whatever reason, your dog does not feel like eating what you have put on his plate, you can mix it with another type of Dog food for example with any of these foods:
Apple
There are many fruits that you can give it, such as watermelon, melon, pear ..., but there is one that it will »sink its teeth into» almost without thinking about it: the apple. Chop it up a bit to make it easier for you to chew, and enjoy seeing her happy face 🙂.
Dog treats
But not just anyone, no. You can't give him those that barely smell, because he most likely won't want to try it, especially if he's a foodie, like mine. What you have to give to this type of dog is sweets that smell a lot or a lot, as they give off a smell of bacon.
Natural meat
Chopping chicken carcasses is not a pleasant experience, but dogs love them. If you don't want to give it carcasses, you can give it bones or entrails (lungs, liver, heart). Of course, when we talk about giving him bones, it is always very important that we give them raw; the viscera, on the other hand, have been boiled in a pot for a few minutes and given when they are warm.
Holistic feed with a high content of animal protein
After thinking about it a lot, spending a lot of money on feed that in the end I had to return, I have come to the conclusion that dogs can enjoy eating feed, but only if it is high in animal protein (from red meat animals) and they are grain-free. In fact, if you put a plate of natural meat with corn, I can assure you that, in the vast majority of cases, it will leave the corn behind. A separate case would be the rice that, if it is mixed with chicken broth, can be eaten without problems.
So, if you are worried that your dog is not eating the amount it touches, with any of these 5 foods it is sure to leave the plate clean as a whistle 😉.
