Physical characteristics
The Neapolitan Mastiff is a giant breed dog. The male weighs between 60-70kg, with a height at the withers between 63 and 77cm; the female has a weight between 50 and 60kg and a height between 58 and 70cm. The body is protected with a coat of short hair that can be black, blue, mahogany, isabela or brindle. It is a robust, strong animal with a large head, an elongated muzzle and drooping ears. Behavior
It is a very faithful, calm dog, who does not like to get away from its humans. He gets along well with children, but due to their size it is very, very important that he is never left alone with them to avoid problems.
