Bubba, the pit bull who adopted a cat

Pitbull adopts cat

Bubba is a Pitbull, a dog classified among the potentially dangerous breeds for its characteristics, but which has shown to have much more sensitivity than even some people. This dog was rescued from a shelter, and since he was little he showed a lot of interest in cats, so his owner decided to bring him a companion.

This pit bull had to wait six years to have his own cat, a female named Rue who seems to think that Bubba is his mom. And it is not for less, since the dog takes care of it as if it were his and he himself had adopted it. It is another of those touching stories that make us change the way we see animals, because the mythical idea that cats and dogs do not get along has already gone down in history.

Bubba was adopted When he was little, and his owner, Rebecca Pizzello took him with her roommate, who was taking care of a litter of cats at the time. It was then that little Bubba began to love cats, and fell in love with them. Since then, her owner knew that one day she would take a cat to live with Bubba.

He had to wait six years, until Rebecca moved to New York, to have your own cat. An orange cat, the same shade as the pit bull, also rescued from a shelter. From day one they got along great, and Rue immediately started sleeping on top of Bubba, like she was her mother.

Bubba takes care of her and washes her as if it were your puppy. He sleeps next to her to keep her warm and has all the patience in the world with the cat Rue. A beautiful story that shows us that the usual clichés are sometimes more than wrong, because this pitbull gets along great with cats and has also adopted his own.
