When we adopt a furry little one, many doubts assail us. We want to take good care of him, thus ensuring that he does not lack for anything, and that is why we often do not know how long a puppy's walk has to last.

To know how much time you should exercise each day, it is very important to know how many hours you sleep. We, as your caregivers, must respect your sleep hours because if we do not do so we could put your health (both physical and mental) at risk. - From 0 to 3 months: 18-20 hours / day.
- From 3 to 12 months (more or less): 16-18 hours / day.
- From 12 months: 14-16 hours / day.
But… do you sleep in a hurry? The truth is that no. There are furry ones that will sleep 8-10 hours in a row, for example at night, but that throughout the day they will take naps. In any case, if we see that our puppy yawns or that he looks tired, we must leave him aloneOtherwise, it would not take long to get sick.
During the rest of the time one of the things to do is take him out for a walk. But how many minutes? Again, it will depend a lot on age: While the youngest puppy will only be able to walk for ten to fifteen minutes, the oldest will be able to walk for 20 to 30 minutes each time he goes out. These walks have to be fun and pleasant, so we recommend putting a harness where we will hook the leash and we will take treats for dogs that we will give them little by little.
