Sniffing, which is how this practice is called, is an exercise that relaxes the furry a lot.
On the other hand, if what has happened is that you are very afraid of fireworks and / or thunder, the best way to calm it will be by playing relaxing music. Never, under any circumstances, do we have to remove him from hiding by force, since if we did it would feel even worse. What we will do is continue with the routine, showing her that nothing is really wrong, and offering her treats or her favorite toy.
