Before starting
From own experience I recommend that you do an intensive treatment during the same day, but keeping the animals away from home. Fleas multiply very quickly, and you should not leave anything, not even a corner untreated. But to avoid problems, you have to take the furry outside. So don't hesitate to ask a family member to take care of them for a day.
Put the washing machine
You have to put in it the sheets, blankets, tablecloths, sofa covers, ... in short, everything that can be washed in the washing machine. With hot water and the products that you usually use always, they will be very clean and without a trace of fleas.
Thoroughly clean the entire house
With a mop and a bucket of hot water that will have been added about 15ml of anti-flea insecticide, you have to clean every corner of your house. Move the furniture if necessary to be able to clean the floor underneath, and wipe it with a cloth dampened with that water (put on rubber gloves beforehand) and then wipe it over the surfaces of the shelves, desks, etc.
When finished, vacuum.
Protect your dog
It will be useless to have an impeccable house, without fleas, if the dog is not protected. You have to give him a good bath and, as soon as the hair dries, put a pipette or a flea collar on it.
