This news appeared in the media a few days ago, and although it is not incredible news, for pet owners it is remarkable. We talk about Maya, a Akita Inu dog that, when her owner got sick and entered the hospital, she decided to stay there to wait for her, because her loyalty is unbreakable.

This reaction of the dog, which he didn't want to leave the hospital, surprised all the staff, and that is why social networks echoed the case immediately. It is no wonder, and it reminds us of the story of Hachiko, the dog who waited for his owner at the station every day, and who continued to wait for him after his death, believing that one day he would return home by train.

Without a doubt this story is very similar, since both are of the Akita Inu race, which apparently is very faithful to their owners. This loyalty they have makes being with their owner and ensuring their well-being is the most important thing for these dogs. The bitch maya waited up to six days at the doors of the hospital until its owner, a 22-year-old girl, recovered from the sudden appendicitis she suffered.

Hospital staff were very surprised by the presence of this bitch, who did not move from this site expecting to see his owner. Undoubtedly, in this case we are facing a happy ending, since when the dog returned with her owner, the great happiness of both could be seen when they met again. The ending is somewhat different from Hachiko's, as he waited for his owner in front of the station for nine years. We all remember these types of stories, and we know the connection and loyalty that our pets can have towards us.
