It is common, after this, the administration of anti-inflammatories, antibiotics and the frequent use of oral rinses. Also, some changes in eating habits are sometimes necessary.
The best way to avoid gingivitis is prevention. We must brush the teeth and gums of our dog daily, always with a brush and a special toothpaste for dogs. In addition, the use of an oral rinse, also specific for these animals, and the usual veterinary check-ups are recommended.
