Tips for your dog to obey you

Sitting dog

We all want to have a sociable dog that behaves well, both with people and with other animals. But to achieve that, it is imperative that we, as human beings, let's educate you the best we can, using everything in our power to take care of it and to make it trust us, since we cannot forget that, yes, we are the ones who take care of feeding and drinking, but with the animal we maintain a relationship of friendship, of companionship, and no one would hit or yell at their friend, right? 😉

Obviously, dogs are not human, and unfortunately there are things they do not understand, so it is necessary to set limits so that their lives are not in danger. So we are going to give you a few tips for your dog to obey you.

The sooner you start training him, the better

The brain of puppies is a sponge, which absorbs everything very quickly. Therefore, if you have the opportunity, do not hesitate to train him from puppyhood. Of course, you should know that adults can also learn, but it may take them a little longer.

In any case, if you see that one day he does not have much courage, do not force him to do something that he does not want. Mutual respect should be the most important thing.

Don't expect miracles on the first day

You have to have a lot of patience and be constant. There are people who try to deceive others by telling them that a dog can be trained in X minutes, or in X days. That is false. Each dog has its own learning pace, so it is impossible to know how long it will take to learn an order.

In addition, you have to be constant and work with the dog for 2-5 minutes several times a day to make it easier for him to assimilate the command.

Give simple commands

So that you do not forget or that you forget, you need to give simple orders, such as "sit", "grave", "paw" or "give the paw", "seek", and so on. It is also convenient that you use the same words for the same order, since otherwise it can be confused.

And by the way, don't give him an order and then another if he didn't do the first one right. You should repeat the first one until he gets it right, and help him if necessary. Do not forget to give prizes (sweets, caresses, toys) every time I do something you want.

Dog thinking

With these tips, your furry will more easily get used to his new life with you 😉.
