While some prefer that their dogs sleep along with them, others consider it more convenient for each one to have their own bed. Both options are equally valid, because if the animal is clear that it must respect our space, none of this has to negatively influence its education. The first step to do this is to condition a special place where the dog can rest. It must be comfortable and soft, isolated from the cold and heat. In addition, it is convenient that it be a quiet corner, with little traffic and where noise does not predominate. Sometimes it is the dog himself who opts for some area of the house; in that case, it is best to place your bed there with a few blankets and your toys.
Once our pet has chosen his favorite place to relax, we have to respect your space, avoiding disturbing her every time she is in it. This way you will associate it with a place of rest and tranquility, where you will feel comfortable sleeping. We can also reinforce this positive association by having the dog lie down on his bed and reward him with a treat.
